| My art training began in the 80's with Robert Stoller, noted artist, teacher and friend. While continuing my studies at Pierce Community College in Woodland Hills, California, I became involved with the College’s art gallery and founded the Friends of the Art Gallery at Pierce for the purpose of raising funds for the Gallery’s operations. For many years I chaired the annual community art show, Art of Our Generations, at the Finegood Gallery in West Hills, California. |

Currently I am a member of the Collage Artists of America and a member of the board of Women Painters West.

| In an early series of abstract acrylic paintings on paper, On The Verge, I concentrated on works containing bold colorful forms that emerge from a grey negative space. The series was an investigation into the reductive process and use of color. Changing my emphasis, another series was created of shapes and color emerging from a grey mist, evoking a mysterious mood, with more muted emotions. Having spent many pleasurable years working with acrylic paint, I discovered a new creative joy in collage/mixed media. |
